How to Run MSCONFIG in Windows 7

1. Click 'Start.'
2. Click inside the search field at the bottom of the Start menu that says 'Search programs and files.'
3. Type 'MSCONFIG.' Note that you can type this command with any combination of upper or lower case letters.
4. Click 'msconfig.exe' in the search results window, which will open the 'System Configuration' window.
5. Click the tabs at the top of the System Configuration window and make any desired changes to the settings.
6. Click 'Apply,' then 'OK' and restart your computer when prompted.
