How to Increase Cache Size


Command Prompt
1. Click the 'Start' button and then click the 'All Programs' button.
2. Right-click on the 'Command Prompt' option. Select the 'Run As Administrator' option from the menu.
3. Type 'fsutil behavior set memoryusage 2' into the command prompt and press the 'Enter' button.
Registry
4. Click the 'Start' button and then click on the 'Search' bar.
5. Type 'regedit' into the search bar and press 'Enter.'
6. Navigate to this path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSe\Control\FileSystem.
7. Click on the 'NTFS Memory Usage' option on the right. Set the 'Data' number to '2' and click the 'OK' button.
8. Click the 'Start' button and then click the 'Restart' button. Once the system restarts, the changes will take effect.
