How to Update BlackBerry Software in Windows 7

1. Open your Web browser and go to the BlackBerry software update page.
2. Click the 'Check for Updates' button located near the middle of the page.
3. Save the BlackBerry update MSI installation file to your computer's hard drive when you are prompted to do so.
4. Double-click the downloaded file to install the BlackBerry update software. Click 'Run' at the Windows security prompt to begin installation. Click 'Continue' when prompted for permission from Windows Account Manager.
5. Connect your BlackBerry to your computer with USB cable.
6. Select your BlackBerry from the drop-down menu and click the 'OK' button. The BlackBerry update program will search for updates for your device.
7. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the software updates to your BlackBerry.
