How to Change My Windows 7 Taskbar Back to Normal

1. Right-click the taskbar and choose 'Properties' from the menu.
2. Select 'Bottom' from the 'Taskbar location on screen' drop-down menu. This places the taskbar in the default location at the bottom of your screen.
3. Click the 'Customize' button next to 'Notification Area.' This launches a new window.
4. Click the 'Restore default icon behaviors' link to restore the notification icons to default settings.
