1. Click 'Start,' 'Control Panel,' 'System and Security' and 'Administrative Tools.' All the tools listed in this window control the settings of your computer.
2. Double-click the 'Data Source (ODBC)' shortcut. The window that opens displays all of your DSN settings.
3. Click the 'System' tab. Click the DSN you want to edit and click the 'Configure' button on the right side of the window.
4. Type a new number or alphanumeric name for the DSN in the 'Name' text box.
5. Click 'OK' to save your settings.
