2. Click 'View sync partnerships' from the list of tasks in the left column of the Sync Center.
3. Right-click the specific sync partnership you want to end or remove. Click the 'Delete' or 'End sync partnership' option. Repeat this process for each sync partnership you want to remove.
Disable Windows Sync Center
4. Click the Windows logo 'Start' button. Type 'Windows Explorer' in the Search box and press 'Enter.'
5. Click on the primary '(C:)' drive in the left column of Windows Explorer. Double-click on the 'Windows' folder in the list of folders in the right side of Windows Explorer. Scroll down the list of subsequent folders and double-click on the 'System 32' folder to open it.
6. Scroll down the 'System32' names list and find 'mobsync.exe,' the application name for Windows Sync Center. Right-click 'mobsync.exe' and click 'Copy.'
7. Click the '(C:)' drive in the left column of Windows Explorer. Click 'New Folder' near the top of Windows Explorer. Type a name for the folder which will contain the Windows Sync Center application file; name it something you'll remember, such as 'SyncCopy.' Double-click the new folder to open it. Right-click in the empty folder space and click 'Paste' to paste the Windows Sync Center application file.
8. Click the '(C:)' drive in the left column. Navigate back to the 'System32' folder. Find 'mobsync.exe' in the list of 'System32' files. Right-click 'mobsync.exe' and click 'Delete.' Click 'Yes' if a confirmation or user account control message appears. Removing the Windows Sync Center application file from the 'System32' folder disables automatic synchronization features, but the Sync Center can still be accessed manually via the Control Panel.
