How to Erase a Mac Partition in Windows 7

1. Connect the hard drive to the computer. If the hard drive is internal, power the computer off before connecting the drive.
2. Click the Windows orb in the lower-left corner of the screen.
3. Right-click 'Computer' and click 'Manage.'
4. Click 'Disk Management.'
5. Right-click the Mac partition and click 'Delete Volume.' Click 'Yes' to confirm that the existing data will be lost.
6. Right-click the now-unallocated partition and click 'New Simple Volume.'
7. Click 'Next' four times, and then click the 'Finish' button. The partition is formatted with NTFS and ready for use by Windows 7.
