How to Make a 6136U Scanner Work With Windows 7

1. Browse to OpenDrivers.com and find the 'Memorex' section. Click to download the 6136U driver to your computer.
2. Find the downloaded file on your computer. Right-click on it and choose 'Extract All.' Confirm the extraction process. Double-click on the setup file in the folder that appears after the extraction completes. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver and software on your computer.
3. Click on the 'Start' menu and find the newly installed scanner software. Right-click the program and select 'Properties.' Click on the 'Compatibility' tab.
