How to Make Windows Wireless Be the Default


Starting Windows Zero Configuration
1. Click 'Start,' then 'Run.'
2. Type '%SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc /s' and click 'OK.'
3. Scroll down the list of available services and right-click on 'Windows Zero Configuration,' then select 'Properties.'
4. Click the drop-down menu next to 'Startup Type' and select 'Automatic,' then click on the 'Start' button. Click 'OK'
5. Right-click on the third-party wireless manager from the list of services and select 'Properties.' This name differs depending on the manufacturer.
6. Click the drop-down menu next to 'Startup Type' and select 'Disabled.' Click 'OK.'
Making Windows the Default Wireless Manager
7. Double-click the wireless icon in the bottom-right corner of your desktop. It looks like a computer with a signal coming out of it.
8. Click on 'Properties.'
9. Click on the 'Wireless Networks' tab.
10. Check the box next to 'Let Windows manage my wireless network.' Click 'OK' to exit the window.
