How to Enable JavaScript in Windows 7


Internet Explorer
1. Open an Internet Explorer browser window.
2. Click the 'Tools' button near the top-right corner of the window and select 'Internet Options.'
3. Select the 'Security' tab located at the top of the resulting dialog box and then click the 'Custom Level' button.
4. Scroll down through the list of options until you reach the 'Scripting' section.
5. Set the 'Active scripting' option to 'Enable.'
6. Click 'OK' on each of the next two screens to confirm the change.
Firefox
7. Open a Firefox browser window.
8. Click the 'Tools' option in the top menu bar and then select 'Options.'
9. Select the 'Content' tab located at the top of the resulting dialog box.
10. Check the 'Enable JavaScript' box.
11. Click 'OK' to confirm the change.
Opera
12. Open an Opera browser window.
13. Click the 'Menu' button at the top-left corner of the window.
14. Select 'Settings,' followed by 'Quick Preferences.'
15. Check the 'Enable JavaScript' box that appears in the resulting sub-menu.
Safari
16. Open a Safari browser window.
17. Click the 'Edit' item in the top menu bar and then select 'Preferences.'
18. Select the 'Security' tab in the resulting dialog box.
19. Check the 'Enable JavaScript' box.
20. Click the 'X' in the top-right corner of the dialog box to confirm the change.
