How to Set Up a Virtual Machine in Windows 7
1. Ensure that your processor is capable of running the virtual machine client by downloading and running the SecureAble diagnostic tool (see Resources).
2. Navigate to the Windows 7 XP Mode download page (see Resources), and download the XP Mode software.
3. Locate the 'Virtual Windows XP' option on the Start Menu, and select it.
4. Configure the settings for the Virtual Machine, and add any security options you wish to use on the configuration screen. When you have finished the configuration process, click 'OK' to start the virtual machine.
5. Install any desired software and applications in the virtual machine. The workspace is a complete, normal installation of Windows XP.
