Microsoft Error Code 1722

Occurrences
Error code 1722 appears when NetBIOS is disabled over the TCP/IP connection. The attempt to access this feature occurs whenever an application uses the NetUserGetLocalGroup function unsuccessfully.
Resolution
A missing update is the primary cause of the error code. If you're using Microsoft Windows 2003, you need to install service pack 1. If you're using Windows 2000, you need to download the Windows Server 2000 Service Pack (SP4) Rollup 1.
Workaround
If the update is not available, it's also possible to use a workaround to enable the service. In the 'Control Panel,' locate 'Network Connections' followed by 'Internet Connections.' Click 'Local Area Connections' followed by 'Properties.' Select 'TCP/IP' and then 'Properties.' Go to 'Advanced' and locate the 'WINS' tab. Locate 'Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP' and select 'OK.'
Additional Errors
This error is also found when installing a corrupted version of the Javascript installer. Remedy this by locating an alternative download location.
