How to Check the History on an XP Computer

Microsoft Internet Explorer
1. Click 'View,' 'Explorer Bar' and History' to bring up the History pane. The browser history is shown here.
2. Double-click an item on the list to return to a website that you have visited previously.
3. Click the 'History' drop-down menu to sort the items by the date, name of the site or most times visited.
4. Click the 'X' icon to close the History pane.
Mozilla Firefox
5. Click 'History,' then click 'Show All History.' The browser history is shown here.
6. Double-click an item on the list to return to a website.
7. Click the 'Views' drop-down menu to organize the list by name, date visited or total number of visits.
8. Close the window when you are finished.
Google Chrome
9. Click the wrench-shaped icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then click 'History.' The browser history is shown here.
10. Click an item on the list to return to the website.
11. Type a search term in the box at the top of the window to search for a specific item in your history.
12. Browse to a website or close the tab to exit the History screen.
