How to Restore System Default Sounds

1. Press the 'Windows' and 'R' keys simultaneously to load a Run box.
2. Type 'mmsys.cpl' and click 'OK.' This loads Windows Sound and Audio.
3. Click the 'Sound' tab.
4. Click the drop-down menu under 'Sound Scheme' and select 'Windows Default.'
5. Click 'Apply' and then 'OK' to save the changes.
