How to Reinstall Windows Mobile OS

1. Plug your device into your computer using the USB cable that came with the unit. Allow ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center (depending on your operating system) to boot up and synchronize your device.
2. Click 'Backup/Restore' if you are using ActiveSync, choose the 'Backup' tab, click 'Full Backup' and finalize the backup by click 'Back Up Now.' If you are using Windows Mobile Device Center, click 'Mobile Device Settings,' choose the 'Backup' tab, click 'Full Backup' and finalize the backup by clicking 'Back Up Now.'
3. Unplug the device from the computer and find the 'hard reset' buttons on your phone by referencing the Hard Reset Guide (see Resources). Press and hold the hard reset buttons on your phone and hold them until the phone indicates that it has initiated a hard reset. Restart your Windows Mobile device when the hard reset has completed.
4. Plug your device into the computer and activate ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center. Whether you are using Windows Mobile Device Center or ActiveSync, the program will automatically initiate a synchronization that will repopulate your phone with the data you backed up.
