How to Make a Windows System Recovery CD


1. Insert a blank recordable CD or DVD into your disc drive.
2. Open the control panel by selecting the “Start” icon and then “Control Panel” from the system menu.
3. Find the “System and Security” group in the control panel. Click “Back up your computer” under this group.
4. Click “Create a system repair disc” from the menu located on the upper left side of the 'Backup and Restore' window.
5. Select the computer’s recordable CD or DVD drive, and click the “Create disc” button.
