How to Change the Registered Name for XP

1. Go to the \'Start\' menu in the lower left corner of the screen and click on \'Run.\'
2. Type \'regedit\' in the search line and click on \'OK\' to bring up the Windows Registry Editor.
3. Find and click on the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\Current Version
4. Double-click the \'Registered Owner\' value in the right portion of the Registry Editor's window.
5. Type the new registered name in the \'Value\' field and click on \'OK.\' Exit the Registry Editor and restart your computer to implement the change.
