My Peachtree End of Year Wizard Won't Complete
Fixing the Failure to Load DLL Error
1. Reboot your computer. This will release any locked files.
2. Open Peachtree and your company folder after a successful reboot.
3. Run the Year End Wizard and click 'No.' This step is only necessary if Peachtree prompts you to do the run.
4. Print any year end reports that you need.
5. Go to the 'Tasks' menu, and select 'System' then 'Year End Wizard.' The wizard should now be working properly.
6. Select 'Check None' and finish using the wizard.
Troubleshooting Initialization of the Wizard
7. Select your company's name from the Peachtree program.
8. Select 'Maintain' then 'Company Information.'
9. Locate the directory, and write down the name of the file path that is listed for your company.
10. Fully exit all applications.
11. Open your company folder, and add the word 'Old' in front of the following file names to rename them: Evntcls, Jrncls, alarm.dat, alert.dat, eventlog.dat and audittr.dat.
12. Open the Peachtree program, and select your company.
13. Click 'File,' 'Data Verification' and the 'Both tests' option.
14. Click 'START' then 'SAVE.'
15. Close the year.
16. Reopen Peachtree and your company. The year should now be closed.
