How to Set the System Restore to Create a Restore Point Every Day in Windows 7
1. Click on 'Start' and type 'Task Scheduler' without quotes into the Search box. Press 'Enter' to open Task Scheduler.
2. Expand the tree in the left pane by clicking on the small arrows next to the folders. Scroll down to the System Restore folder, and click on it to select it.
3. Double-click on 'SR Queued Multiple Triggers Defined' in the top center pane. 'SR' stands for System Restore.
4. Click on the 'Triggers' tab. If a daily trigger is already set up, click on the 'Edit' button to change the time or other details. Check the 'Enable' box before clicking 'OK.'
5. Click 'New' to create a new trigger if a daily trigger does not exist. Choose 'Daily' under the Settings option, and select the time you want System Restore to run. Check the 'Enable' box, and click 'OK' to confirm. Close the Task Scheduler window.
