How to Disable the Windows Password in Safe Mode
1. Turn on your computer and press 'F8' during startup, prior to the Windows logo appearing. This will launch the Windows Advanced Boot menu. Select 'Safe Mode' and press 'Enter.' Allow this specialized Windows session to load successfully.
2. Log into your Windows profile as you normally would. Go to the 'Start' menu and launch the 'Control Panel' applet. Click 'Add or Remove User Accounts' from the 'User Accounts and Family Safety' section.
3. Click the Windows profile in question and select 'Remove the Password.' Enter the password currently assigned to the account and press 'Remove Password.'
4. Go to the 'Start' menu and click 'Restart' or 'Shut Down' once you are finished disabling the Windows password in Safe Mode.
