An Internet Connection Sharing Error 1068

Purpose
ICS lets users share an Internet connection on a central computer. The central Windows computer runs the ICS service, which makes the computer a router. This solution is beneficial for small home or office networks that do not require any security. Windows automates the setup, so users unfamiliar with networking do not need to set up any configurations other than installing the service.
Fixing the Error
The 1068 error occurs when the dependency services are not running on the system. Click the 'Start' menu and type 'Open System Configuration Utility.' Click 'Services' to see a list of services. Make sure each of the following services are turned on:
Application Layer Gateway Service
Network Connections
Network Location Awareness (NLA)
Plug and Play
Remote Access Auto Connection Manager
Remote Access Connection Manager
Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
Telephony
To turn on a service, check the box and click 'Restart.'
Setup
You must have a hub and Ethernet cable to set up ICS. Each Ethernet cable connects to a user's computer and the other end attaches to the hub. The ICS install is in the 'Windows Components' section of the Control Panel. You only need to install it on one computer on the network. After you install ICS on one central computer, you must reboot the other computers to pick up on the new, central ICS computer.
Consideration
The ICS system uses one IP address range, so you cannot use it on large networks. There is also no filtering systems or methods to block incoming traffic like a router offers. Therefore, it is not advisable to use the ICS system on networks that require user passwords or security methods to block or filter any Web traffic.
