How to Find the Last Updates on My Computer
1. Open your Control Panel. Do this by clicking on your 'Start' button and then scrolling through your popup menus. Click on the phrase 'Control Panel.' Double-click on the icon with the phrase 'Windows Update' just underneath.
2. Click on the 'View update history' located at the top left-hand side of the window. It will give you a list of updates. View additional details about the last updates on your computer. Single-click on one item, right-click it and choose 'View Details.' A new window will appear with information about the time and date you last installed an update. Opt for online assistance using the support links that sometimes appear at the bottom of that window.
3. Go to the area of your computer that has your programs. You can also find the last updates on your computer there. Do this by going to your Control Panel. Click your 'Start' button once again. Scroll through the pop-up menus and then click on 'Control Panel.'
4. Double-click on the icon that reads 'Programs and Features.' Wait for about three seconds so your computer can open these files. Click on 'View Installed Updates' at the top left of your screen. It will appear just below the word 'Tasks.'
5. Scroll through your list of updates. Your computer will most likely organize the last updates on your computer by type. Most systems will have the Microsoft .NET Framework updates at the top of the screen. Read the right column headed 'Installation' or 'Insta...' Click on the drop-down arrow right next to it to have your computer arrange the updates in ascending or descending order. You can also organize your last updates according to date as well.
