An Error Occurred While Reconnecting to Microsoft Windows Network
Features
Microsoft Windows operating systems have many network diagnostic features. The Network Diagnostics utility is a user-friendly way to find an error that occurs. It also helps you determine what your particular problem is while reconnecting to a Windows network. Right-click your network icon on the taskbar (it looks like two computer monitors), then choose 'Diagnose and Repair.'
Turn It 'On'
Re-establish a connection by enabling your network-discovery capabilities. Computers and adjoining networks may become cluttered --- communications between them can get misdirected, for example. Click the drop-down arrow next to 'Sharing and Discovery' and choose 'Turn on Network Discovery.' Then click 'Apply.'
Adjust/Reboot
The Network and Sharing Center, located inside the Control Panel, has a way you can manipulate a Microsoft Windows network directly. Use the 'Manage network connections' link. Right-click on the network name that gives you trouble while reconnecting, and then click 'Properties.' Place a check mark next to the phrase 'Client for Microsoft Windows.' Click the 'OK' button and reboot your computer.
