How to Find My Bit Rate on Windows Vista

1. Click the 'Start' icon in the lower left corner of the Windows Vista home screen to open the Start menu.
2. Select Control Panel. The Control Panel screen appears.
3. Click System and Maintenance to open the System and Maintenance window within the Control Panel.
4. Click System. The System window opens. The bit rate for your computer will be displayed to the right of System Type, beneath System.
