How to Remove Win32 Generic Host Error

Editing the Registry
1. Open the 'Start' menu and click on 'Run...' then type 'regedit'.
2. Navigate to the following location: 'HKEY_Local_Machine>System>CurrentControlSetup>Services>Browser>Parameters'.
3. Right-click on 'IsDomainMaster' and select 'Modify'.
4. Select 'False' for 'date entry' and then restart your computer.
Installing the Patch
5. Visit the Microsoft Support section of the Microsoft website (see Resources). Download the patch for your operating system.
6. Double-click on the downloaded file.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions in the 'Installation Wizard' to install the patch.
