How to Remove an Apache.EXE Error


1. Press 'Ctrl, 'Alt,' and 'Delete' together to open the Task Manager. Click the 'Processes' tab. Another way to open the Task Manager (Windows Vista users) is by pressing 'Ctrl,' 'Shift,' and 'Esc' together.
2. Scroll down and click 'apache.exe.' Click 'End Process.' Move to the next step if apache.exe is not a currently running process.
3. Click the Windows 'Start' button and click 'Run,' or click 'Start Search' (Windows Vista users). Type 'cmd' (without quotes) and press 'Enter' to open the command prompt.
4. Type 'apache-k uninstall' (without quotes) and press 'Enter' to uninstall this program. Close the command prompt.
5. Click the Windows 'Start' button and click 'Control Panel.' Double-click 'Add or Remove Programs.' Scroll down and click 'Apache HTTP Server 2.0.42.' Click 'Change/remove' to remove this program. If you are using the Windows Vista operating system, click the 'Start' button and click the 'Control Panel.' Double-click 'Programs.' Click 'Program and Features.' Scroll down and click 'Apache HTTP Server 2.0.42.' Click 'Uninstall' to remove this program.
6. Double-click 'My Computer' on the desktop and double-click the 'C:' drive. Double-click the 'Program Files' folder. Locate the 'Apache' folder and delete it. You should no longer have any Apache.exe errors.
