How to Install Mac OS X Panther on a Windows PC
1. Download PearPC PowerPC Architecture Emulator. Unzip the file and place the contents into an easy to find file such as C:\PearPC.
2. Install Mac OS X hard disk images on PearPC. You can find that download at the PearPC website.
3. Copy the Mac OS X in ISO format and install Mac OS X images on your hard disk.
4. Download the PearPC Control Panel to effortlessly configure PearPC to read all the images you saved in Steps 1 to 3.
5. Launch the PearPC Control Panel and use the configuration wizard. Tell the wizard the location of the PearPC emulator and the locations of the hard disk images, and define the amount of memory you want to allocate for Mac OS.
6. Select G3 CPU emulation and decide on the color and screen resolution. Give the configuration file a name (call it Mac OS X Panther) and save it somewhere where it can easily be accessed.
7. Look for the Mac OS X Panther icon in the PearPC Control Panel. Check the 'CD-ROM device is installed' option.
8. Restart your computer.
9. Click on the Mac OS X Panther icon and the PearPC 0.3.0 window should pop up. This should start Mac OS X.
