How to Fix a Windows XP Virus Crash
1. Click on 'Start Menu,' 'All programs,' 'Accessories,' 'System Tools' and then 'System Restore.'
2. Select 'Restore my computer to an earlier time,' then click 'Next.'
3. Browse the dates on the calendar checking the 'description' field for information on each 'Restore Point.' Select the appropriate 'Restore Point,' then click 'Next.'
4. Ensure that you have selected the proper 'Restore Point,' then click 'Next' to begin the restore process.
5. Restart your computer and begin tapping the 'F8' key as soon as the boot process begins, and continue until a boot menu is displayed. Select 'Safe Mode' from the boot menu.
6. Run a full virus scan once Windows starts in 'Safe Mode.'
7. Restart your computer to return to normal operation.
