How to Check Windows XP Genuine

1. Open a browser window and navigate to the Microsoft Genuine homepage.
2. Click on the 'Validate Windows' button on the left side of the page.
3. Click on the information bar at the top of the browser window and confirm that you wish to run the ActiveX plug-in.
4. Wait for the validation scan to be performed. Click the 'Install' button to install the Genuine Advantage checker software plug-in. Once the scan is complete, if you have genuine software, you will see a 'Validation Complete!' message on the screen.
