How to Change Default Font in Windows
Windows XP users
1. Right-click anywhere on your desktop. Select 'Properties.' This will launch a separate window for 'Display Properties.'
2. Click on the tab titled 'Appearance.' Click the 'Advanced' button.
3. Click on the drop-down menu in the 'Items' box. Select the element of Windows (icons, menus, title bars etc.) whose font you wish to change.
4. Click on the 'Font' drop-down menu to change the font (to such options as Times New Roman, Arial, Tahoma, Courier New) Click on the 'Size' drop-down menu to change the font size.
5. Click on 'Apply.' Click 'OK.'
Windows Vista or 7 users
6. Right-click anywhere on the desktop and select 'Personalize.'
7. Click on 'Windows Colors and Appearance.'
8. Click on the link 'Open classic appearance properties for more color options.'
9. Click on the 'Advanced...' button in the 'Appearance Settings' dialog box.
10. Click on the 'Font' drop-down menu to change the font (to such options as Times New Roman, Arial, Tahoma and Courier New). Click on the 'Size' drop-down menu to change the font size. Click on 'Apply.' Click 'OK.'
