How to Access Windows System Volume Restore


1. Click the 'Start' menu button, then click the 'Control Panel' shortcut located within. This will launch the 'Control Panel' window.
2. Click the 'Appearance and Personalization' link located in the 'Control Panel' window.
3. Click the 'Show hidden files and folders' link located under the 'Folder Options' tab in the 'Appearance and Personalization' window. This cause the 'Hidden files and folders' section to appear.
4. Click the radio button labeled 'Show hidden files, folders and drives.'
5. Click the boxes located next to 'Hide extensions for known file types' and 'Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)' to uncheck them.
6. Click 'Apply,' then 'OK' to save the changes made.
7. Press the 'Windows' key and 'F' on your keyboard to launch the 'Search' function.
8. Type 'System Volume Information' into the search box, this will cause the folder location to appear. Double-click the folder to gain access to it.
