Can an iPad Export Data to a PC?
Transfer Using iTunes
1. Connect your iPad to your computer using the provided USB connector cable.
2. Select the 'iPad' button in iTunes. Alternatively, select your iPad from the Devices section of the sidebar, if you enabled the sidebar option.
3. Click the 'Apps' tab.
4. Select the app that contains the file you want to share from the File Sharing section.
5. Choose a file from the list of available files, and then click the 'Save To' button.
6. Select a location on your Windows computer to save the file and click 'Open.'
Transfer Using Email
7. Access the document on your iPad that you want to export to your Windows computer. For example, to send a page from Notes, click the 'Notes' app and locate the note you want to export.
8. Click the send icon, indicated by an arrow extending out of a box. Tap the 'Mail' option.
9. Input an email address accessible on your PC into the 'To:' field.
10. Click the 'Send' button and access the email with the document attachment on your Windows computer.
Transfer Using iCloud
11. Tap the 'Settings' app, and choose 'iCloud' from the Settings pane. Input your iCloud credentials into the 'Apple ID' and 'Password' fields if needed. Follow the prompts to set up iCloud.
12. Tap 'Documents & Data' on the iCloud screen.
13. Set the 'Documents & Data' toggle switch to the 'On' position.
14. Access and log in to the iCloud website on your Windows computer (link in Resources).
15. Select the app that corresponds to the document you want to download. For example, click the 'Pages' button to download Word documents from your iPad to your computer.
16. Right-click the document you want to download, and select 'Download Document...' from the list of options. Select the format you want to use to convert the document. For example, you could select 'Word' to download a version compatible with Microsoft Word.
