Windows 98: How to Speed Up Your Computer


1. Close all programs you have running on your computer.
2. Choose 'Start,' 'Programs' and then click 'Accessories.'
3. In 'Accessories,' select 'System Tools' and then 'Disk Cleanup.' This will clean your disk.
4. To defragment your Windows 98 computer, select 'Start,' followed by 'Programs' and then 'Accessories.'
5. Select 'System Tools' and choose 'Disk Defragmenter.'
6. Select your hard drive, and the defragmenting will begin.
