How to Use F Keys to Restore Windows XP

1. Turn on or restart your computer and press “F8” when the booting process starts.
2. Select “Safe Mode” and press “Enter.”
3. Click on the “Start” menu and click 'Run.' Type “rstrui.exe” into the search box and press “Enter.” This will open Windows System Restore. Alternatively, go to the “Start” menu, click “All Programs,” “Accessories,” “System Tools” and “System Restore.”
4. Select a date you want to restore your computer to and click “Next.”
5. Confirm the restore point, and restart your computer.
