How to Use a Dell Windows Disc on Another Computer

1. Place your Windows installation CD into the optical drive of the new computer. Boot your new computer. Press a key when prompted to 'boot from CD.'
2. Click 'Install' once the CD loads the installation program. Choose the partition you wish to install Microsoft Windows onto and click 'Next.' Accept the Microsoft License Agreement.
3. Type your 25-character product key and click 'Next.' Your new computer will install Microsoft Windows. Once complete, you will be able to run Microsoft Windows by booting your new computer.
