How to Uninstall Windows XP Games
Pre-installed Games
1. Click on the 'Start' button on the lower left corner of the screen on the task bar. From the options presented, choose 'Control Panel.'
2. Click the button labeled 'Add or Remove Programs' to have a window appear with a list populated by all the removable programs on your computer.
3. Click on the 'Accessories and Utilities' label and then click on 'Details.'
4. Locate the Games check box. Click on the word 'Games' and proceed to check the boxes of the preloaded games you want to uninstall, such as Spider Solitaire and Hearts.
5. Press 'OK' and 'Next' to finish the removal of the pre-installed Windows XP games.
Later-installed Games
6. Click on the 'Start' button on the lower left corner of the screen on the task bar. From the options presented, choose 'Control Panel.'
7. Click 'Add or Remove Programs' to have a window appear with a list populated by all the removable programs on your computer.
8. Select the game to uninstall and click the 'Remove' button. If Windows XP or the game program asks for a verification of your uninstall request, click on 'Yes.' Repeat as needed to remove all games from your Windows XP system.
