How to Uninstall Apache in Windows
1. Click the Windows 'Start' button and select 'All Programs,' followed by 'Accessories' and 'Command Prompt.'
2. Type the following command:cd
Substitute '
' for the actual location of Apache's 'bin' folder. By default, this folder is located at 'C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\bin'.
3. Press the 'Enter' key to execute the command and open the 'bin' folder.
4. Type the following command:httpd -k uninstall
5. Press the 'Enter' key to execute the command and uninstall the service.
6. Click the Windows 'Start' button and select 'Control Panel.'
7. Select 'Uninstall a program' if you use Windows Vista or Windows 7. In Windows XP or an earlier version of Windows, click 'Add or Remove Programs' instead.
8. Single-click the Apache HTTP Server item.
9. Click the 'Uninstall' button near the top of the window if you use Windows Vista or Windows 7. In Windows XP or an earlier version of Windows, click the adjacent 'Remove' button instead. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your choice and complete the uninstall process.
10. Click the Windows 'Start' button and select 'Computer.' Double-click the 'C:' drive icon and then navigate to the folder containing your Apache installation ('C:\Program Files' by default). Right-click the 'Apache Group' folder and select 'Delete.'
