How to Take Pictures on a Computer Using a Web Cam

1. Insert the software CD that came with the Web cam into your CD driver and download or install the Web cam software. If the computer has a Web cam built into it, open the Start menu and locate the Web cam file.
2. Open the Web cam file in the Start menu or turn on the Web cam. Point the Web cam at the item that you want to take a picture of.
3. Position the arrow on the computer screen over the button that take the picture. Left-click the button on the mouse to take the picture.
4. Position the arrow on the computer screen on the button that says 'Save' and left-click the button on the mouse. Save the picture in the file of your choice. Position the arrow over the button that says 'Delete' if you don't want to keep the picture and left-click the button on the mouse.
