How to Stop Dll Files

1. Hold down the Windows key and press 'R.' The Run box opens.
2. Type 'cmd' into the Run box and click 'OK.' The Command Prompt opens.
3. Type 'regsvr32 -u SampleDLLName.dll' into the Command Prompt. Replace 'SampleDLLName' with the name of the DLL that you want to unregister. For example, 'regsvr32 -u virus.dll.' Do not type the quote marks into the command. After the command is typed in, press 'Enter.'
4. Restart your computer.
