How to Remove a Trojan in System Restore
Disable System Restore
1. Click the Start button. Right-click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties.'
2. Click on the 'System Restore' tab in the 'System Properties' window. Check the box next to 'Turn off System Restore.'
3. Click the 'OK' button. Click 'Yes' when the confirmation window appears.
Run Antivirus
4. Open your antivirus software. The launch icon for the software is in the Start menu, on the desktop or in the installation folder. If no antivirus software is present on your system, consult the Resource section for free options.
5. Follow the on-screen directions to update the virus definitions. These definitions are downloaded from the Internet and allow the scanner to detect and remove the newest malware threats.
6. Follow the on-screen directions to perform a full system scan. The scan searches all storage drives for viruses and other malware. Allow the scan to finish.
7. Follow the on-screen directions to remove any detected viruses or other malware. Close the antivirus software.

8. Click the Start button. Right-click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties.'
9. Click on the 'System Restore' tab in the 'System Properties' window. Uncheck the box next to 'Turn off System Restore.'
10. Click the 'OK' button. Click 'Yes' when the confirmation window appears.
