How to Make a Boot CD for Preinstalled Windows XP

1. Click on 'Start,' 'All programs,' 'Accessories,' 'System tools' and then on 'Backup.' This will open a Microsoft wizard program to begin creating a boot CD.
2. Insert a blank CD into your CD drive when the wizard prompts you to and verify that you wish to make the boot CD. Click 'Yes' and the boot CD will be created. Depending on the configuration of your computer, you may need more than one blank disc.
3. Label the disc after the creation of the boot CD. In the event you needed more than one blank CD, be certain to number them in the order that they were created. You will need to use them in this order for a system recovery. Store the disc or discs in a safe location for possible future use.
