How to Fix Error 0X80040600


1. Click the 'Start' button, then click on the 'Search' icon.
2. Click the 'All Files and Folders' icon on the left side of the screen.
3. Type 'scanpst.exe' into the 'Search' box and press the 'Enter' button.
4. Click the 'Look In' box and choose your 'C:' icon.
5. Click the 'Search' icon.
6. Double-click the 'ScanPST.EXE' icon to launch the repair tool.
7. Click the 'Start' button to start the scan. Wait for the scan tool to complete. The time it takes to do so will depend on the size of messages on your Outlook program.
8. Click the 'OK' button to exit the tool. The 0X80040600 error will be removed.
