How to Fix an Application Error in Vista
Reinstall the Application
1. Click 'Start' and type 'regedit' in the 'Start Search' field.
2. Click 'Edit' and select 'Find Next.'
3. Type the name of the application in the dialog box and click 'Find Next.'
4. Look on the right panel of the Registry Editor and locate the application's registry entry.
5. Double click the entry and change the 'Value Data' to '0' to uninstall the application.
6. Visit the applications official website. Download and reinstall the application.
Update Vista
7. Click 'Start' and open 'All Programs.'
8. Click 'Windows Update' and select 'Check for Updates' in the navigation pane.
9. Click 'View available updates' once the check is complete.
10. Select the check box of the latest service pack of Vista. Click 'Install' to update your system.
