How to Find Deleted History in Windows on Internet Explorer
1. Click on the 'Start' button at the lower-left corner of the desktop.
2. Double-click on 'All Programs' from the Start menu.
3. Click on 'Accessories.'
4. Scroll down until you find 'Disk Cleanup' and click on it.
5. Click on 'My Files' then the '(C:)' file from the drop-down box if the choice is given. Many computers will just take you directly to the Cleanup page.
6. Click on the 'Temporary Internet Files and Downloaded Files' box to check the box. Then click 'View Files.'
7. Double-click on each folder that appears. Each folder will contain many (sometimes hundreds) of different Internet files. These files will include: the websites visited, the history, pictures, movies, songs, etc. You will be able to view anything that doesn't require a password to get into. When you open each folder, you can click on the specific website and click 'Restore' (or simply double-click) to view it.
