How to Connect to a Mac OS X File Server From Windows XP
1. Press the Windows logo key and 'R' simultaneously on the keyboard.
2. Type two backslashes, then the IP address of the Mac OS X file server. For example, type '\\192.168.0.10' (without quotes).
3. Press 'Enter.'
4. Type the username and password required to access the Mac OS X server, then press 'Enter.' This depends on how the server was configured. For example, if the user account 'anthony' was shared, enter the username and password for the 'anthony' account on the Mac OS X computer.
5. Double-click the desired shared folder to access the files.
