How to Change the Cache Size in Windows XP
1. From the Start menu click the 'Run' icon. This opens a Run window.
2. Type sysdm.cpl in the 'Open' box in the Run window, then press the 'OK' button. This opens the System Properties control panel window.
3. Click the 'Advanced' tab in the System Properties window, and then click the 'Settings' button. This opens the Performance Options window.
4. Click the 'Advanced' tab in the Performance Options window, then click the radio button next to 'System Cache' to change the size of the cache.
5. Click 'OK' to save the changes. This will open a confirmation window. Click the 'OK' button in the confirmation window, then the 'OK' button in the System Properties window.
6. Restart your computer to complete the process.
