How to Connect a PS3 Controller to a Bluetooth

1. Visit the MonioninJoy download website and click on the drivers that match your system. There are two versions, one for 32-bit Windows-based systems and one for 64-bit Windows systems. To check what kind of system you are running, click 'Start' then right-click on 'Computer' and select 'Properties.' Check under 'System Type' to see if you have a 32-bit or 64-bit system.
2. Download the correct drivers and then double-click on the saved zip file to extract it. Double-click on the '.exe' file to run the driver installer. Click 'Next' twice to complete the installation. Windows 32-bit users can skip steps 3 and 4.
3. Restart your computer if you are running a 64-bit system. While the computer is rebooting, press the 'F8' key to open the Advanced Boot Options menu. This must be pressed before Windows loads up but after the BIOS screen.
4. Scroll down to the 'Disable Driver Signature Enforcement' option and click 'Enter' to boot Windows.
5. Connect the PS3 controller to your computer using a USB cable. The small end connects to the top input of your PS3 controller, and the larger USB port connects to your computer USB port. Windows recognize the attached device and will start installing drivers.
6. Unplug any additional Bluetooth adapters until after the controller has been installed. The only Bluetooth adapter that should be used is the internal one on your computer.
7. The Dual Shock 3 tool should automatically start running. If it does not, click 'Start,' 'All Programs,''MotioninJoy,' 'DS3 Tool' and click on 'Driver Manager.'
8. Click 'Load Driver' and wait until you see the following line in green: 'SUCCESS: Installation completed with code 0x0.. Error code:0'
9. Go back to the Dual Shock 3 tool and click on 'Profiles.' Choose to enable the option labeled 'PlayStation 3.'
10. Click on the 'BluetoothPair' button on the menu bar. Select 'Bluetooth Adapter' in the first box and select 'DUALSHOCK 3' in the second box. Click 'Pair Now' overwrite the Bluetooth drivers and enable your PS3 controller. You can now disconnect your USB cable and use the PS3 controller via Bluetooth.
