How to Find the Mac Address for a Sony Vaio
1. On the Sony Vaio, click the 'Start' menu.
2. In the 'Search' field, type 'Run.' When your results come up, select 'Run' under 'Programs. You might also see the 'Run' program in the menu. If so, select it.
3. In the dialog box, enter 'cmd' to launch Command Prompt.
4. In the black text window, type 'ipconfig/all' and press 'Enter.'
5. Under the 'Wireless LAN Adapter Wireless Network Connection' header, look for the 12-digit 'Physical Address' number. This is the same as your MAC address. If you're looking for your Ethernet MAC address, find the 'Physical Address' under Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection.'
