How to Fix Generic Host Process for Win32

Hot Fix
1. Navigate to the Windows Support page in your computer browser.
2. Locate and download the file titled 'Windows XP 32-bit versions.'
3. Find the downloaded exe file on your computer and double-click on the file name to open it.
4. Allow the installer run and setup the hotfix.
Manual Fix
5. Press the 'Windows + R' keys on your keyboard. This will open the 'Run' text box. Type 'regedit' in the Run text box and hit 'Enter.'
6. Move to the file folder titled 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' on the left side of the screen. Click the '+' icon to open the folder.
7. Find the following folders in under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and click on the '+' icons to open the folders, SYSTEM>CurrentControlSet>Services>Browser>Parameters.
8. Move to the screen on the right side of the window and locate IsDomainMaster. Double-click and change the value to 'False' in the Value data text box.
9. Restart your computer.
