Wnaspi32.dll Error Causes
After correcting a Wnaspi32.dll Error, Microsoft recommends running Windows Update.
Wnaspi32.dll errors are usually caused by situations that lead to the direct or inadvertent corruption or removal of the wnaspi32 DLL file. In certain circumstances, a wnaspi32.dll error might be indicative of an existing registry problem. Sometimes, there is a computer virus, adware or malware that is interfering with the system to cause the error. Hardware failures are other instances, which may cause a wnaspi32.dll error on a computer device.
Recycle Bin
Start Windows in Safe Mode if it is not possible to access Windows normally. Try retrieving wnaspi32.dll from the Recycle Bin. Often, this is the most usual reason that the file is missing. If the Recycle Bin has already been emptied, use a free file recovery program, such as Piriform's Recuva. Consider using this recovery method if the computer was operating properly before the wnaspi32.dll was deleted. (Ref. 3)
Virus Scan
Perform a virus or malware scan of the computer. Wnaspi32.dll errors may occur after a new virus or other malware situation interferes with your computer system and damaged the DLL file. Sometimes, a wnaspi32.dll error may be related to another program that has taken on the identify of the wnaspi32.dll file. Some viruses have been designed to take the place of key files, so that they may disrupt the computer.
Update Drivers
Update the computer drivers for hardware devices that could be related to the wnaspi32.dll. For example, if the file is missing upon using a video game, it may work to update the video card drivers. Also consider rolling back a driver to a previous version installed if the wnaspi32.dll error started after a particular hardware driver update.
System Restore
Use the System Restore feature on the computer. This program can be helpful to take computers back to how it was operating before changes that were made. For example, when you notice that your computer runs slowly or you cannot access certain files that you could before. If you believe that the wnaspi32.dll error could have been caused by a recent change to a configuration or file, try the System Restore to solve this problem.

Reinstall the programs that use the wnaspi32.dll file. This should be effective if the wnaspi32.dll DLL error occurs when certain programs are used. Reinstalling programs that provide the wnaspi32.dll file should replace the file and correct the DLL error.
